Location: San Diego, CA 92102 | Hybrid
Pay: $28-$30/hour
Schedule: 3 Days Onsite | 2 Days Remote
Duration: 2-Month Temporary Contract

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant I for a 2-month contract with a highly respected San Diego nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome homelessness and achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience while supporting a meaningful community-focused organization.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and enter recurring monthly journal entries
- Complete assigned monthly account reconciliations
- Research discrepancies and assist with correcting entries
- Support month-end accounting activities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Provide backup support across the Accounting team
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ months of accounting experience
- Knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Accounting software experience; NetSuite is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently
